Friends of the Library
Friends of the Library is a group of volunteers who have offered their time and energy to help the library. This past year the Friends have purchased portable shelving for the Children's Room, and helped fund the Children's Summer Reading Program Celebration. We have also bought a lectern, microphone and nine moveable tables for the Community Room to allow greater flexibility in using the room; in addition we have allocated funds towards an overhead projector for the Community Room. This year we have already ordered a new, larger outside book drop and outdoor sign for the Library. During the 50th Anniversary Celebration this year we will be sponsoring several programs for the children, young adults and adults to enjoy. The book sales we run are not only wonderful community events, but enable us to purchase these and other great additions to our Library! We would like to invite you to come to our meetings every month and join us. Help your library and have fun doing it!
